Hodgson Russ LLP Names Timothy Ho Managing Partner of Toronto Office as Firm Continues Canadian Growth

Hodgson Russ LLP is pleased to announce that Timothy Ho has been named Office Managing Partner of the firm’s Toronto office. He succeeds George Eydt, who is retiring after 29 years with the firm and more than 15 years in that role.

“Tim’s significant experience in Canada-U.S. cross-border transactions and deep ties to Toronto make him an exceptional choice to lead this office,” said Nathan W. G. A native of Toronto, Ho has a broad cross-border corporate and finance practice. He has assisted a range of Canadian and international clients entering the United States via M&A and organic growth. He also advises issuers and underwriters in public and private capital markets transactions and counsels Canadian foreign private issuers on their reporting obligations under U.S. securities laws. Finally, he is a member of the firm’s opinion committee and has advised both lenders and borrowers on a variety of cross-border lending transactions. He exclusively practices U.S. law and is admitted in New York State.

Ho earned his law degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a master’s degree in economics from McMaster University. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, he practiced at a large, international firm in New York City, where he represented issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions.

Hodgson Russ has maintained a presence in Toronto for more than 35 years and continues to build on that foundation as part of its broader cross-border strategy.
