Sera Yoon is a senior associate in the firm’s Business Litigation Practice. She represents companies and individuals in a range of civil litigation matters, serving as both plaintiff and defense counsel. Her practice focuses on complex torts and commercial & business disputes. Sera also handles intellectual property matters, including drafting and responding to cease‑and‑desist letters.

Sera’s litigation experience spans state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. She has handled special proceedings under Article 78 of the Civil Practice Law and Rules and has represented clients in New York State election law matters, providing strategic guidance in fast-moving and high-stakes proceedings.

Before joining Hodgson Russ, Sera served as a Court Attorney at the New York State Court of Appeals and at the Appellate Division, Fourth Department of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Her background in appellate courts strengthens her analytical approach and informs her advocacy throughout litigation.
